Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy describes how Pregnancy Test App Quiz (the “App”), operated by Mov Apps Mobile, processes your personal information. You can contact our privacy lead/DPO at fire.tamm@gmail.com.

2. Scope of this Policy

This Policy applies when you:

·         Install and use the App, including the 8‑question quiz and the 14‑day Symptom Diary features.

·         Receive notifications (if you enable them).

·         View ads in the App (monetized with Google AdMob).

·         Make in‑app purchases (if enabled in the future).

3. Information We Process

We only process the information needed to operate the App. We distinguish between data that remains on your device and technical data that may be transmitted to service providers (e.g., Google).

3.1. Data You Enter (stored only on your device)

·         Quiz responses: your answers to 8 symptom questions to generate an indicative pregnancy probability.

·         Symptom Diary: daily symptoms, intensity levels, optional notes, and timestamp for 14 days.

·         Preferences: language, reminder time, privacy settings.

These quiz/diary data are stored only on your device and encrypted at rest. We do not upload them to our servers.

3.2. Technical & Advertising Data (transmitted to providers)

·         Device and advertising identifiers (e.g., GAID/AAID/IDFA), approximate IP, user agent, device model, App version, country/language. Used by Google AdMob to serve ads and prevent fraud.

·         Advertising metrics: ad impressions, clicks, and performance (AdMob).

·         Crash/diagnostic and stability data (Firebase Crashlytics).

These data are transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS) to Google as our service provider. We do not send the content of your diary or quiz responses to Google.

3.3. What We Do NOT Process

·         We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos/media, or biometric data.

·         We do not upload your symptoms to the cloud or use them to target advertising.

4. How We Use Information

·         To display an indicative result based on your quiz responses (not medical advice).

·         To create and maintain your 14‑day Symptom Diary and, if you opt in, to remind you to log entries.

·         To monetize the App via ads (AdMob), honoring your privacy choices.

·         To ensure security and stability (crash diagnostics, abuse prevention).

·         To provide user support and resolve issues.

5. Legal Bases (EEA/UK)

·         Consent: creating the Diary, sending notifications, and showing personalized ads where required by law.

·         Legitimate interests: security, aggregated measurement, non‑personalized ads, and essential App functionality.

You can withdraw your consent at any time from Settings → Privacy, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

6. Ads & Monetization (Google AdMob)

The App is free and funded by advertising via Google AdMob. By default—or when consent is not available—we request non‑personalized ads. We never use your symptoms or quiz results to target ads. You can manage your choices in the consent prompt (Google UMP) and in Settings → Privacy.

·         Personalized ads: shown only with your consent where applicable (EEA/UK/certain jurisdictions).

·         Non‑personalized ads: based on context and minimal device data; this is the default if you do not consent.

·         US opt‑out: we provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” control for targeted advertising where required by law.

7. Sharing and Recipients

We do not sell your data. We do not share the content of your diary or your quiz responses. We may share technical identifiers with service providers who support our services:

·         Google AdMob (advertising and fraud prevention).

·         Google Firebase (Crashlytics: stability/diagnostics).

If we use ad mediation, we will list the mediation partners on this page.

8. International Transfers

Our providers (Google AdMob/Firebase) may process data in multiple countries. Where applicable, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards under the GDPR/UK GDPR.

9. Security

·         Encryption at rest for the local database storing diary/quiz data (e.g., SQLCipher/Android Keystore).

·         TLS‑encrypted network transmissions.

·         Data minimization and access controls.

10. Retention

·         Diary/quiz: retained only on your device until you delete them.

·         Preferences (reminders/consent): retained until you reset the App or delete them.

·         Crash logs (Crashlytics): per the provider’s standard retention.

Please note that operating‑system backups may retain data for a limited time until automatically purged.

11. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may exercise the following:

·         Access & portability: export your diary (JSON/PDF) from Settings → Privacy.

·         Rectification: edit or update diary entries.

·         Erasure: use “Delete my data” to remove the local database and preferences.

·         Withdraw consent: turn off notifications and personalized ads.

·         Object or restrict processing: where the law allows.

For other rights or assistance, email us at fire.tamm@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

12. Children

The App is not directed to children. It requires 13+ (and 16+ in the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Canada). If you believe a child has provided data, please contact us to delete it.

13. In‑App Controls

·         Delete my data: removes the local diary/quiz database and preferences.

·         Export my data: download your diary in JSON/PDF.

·         Ad preferences: reopen the consent prompt (Google UMP) to switch between personalized/non‑personalized ads and, in the US, to opt out of “sale/sharing”.

·         Notifications: enable or disable reminders at any time.

14. Third‑Party Links

Articles and ads from third parties within the App link to external sites with their own policies. We are not responsible for their practices.

15. Changes to this Policy

When we make material changes to this Policy, we will notify you within the App or by equivalent means. The “Last updated” date indicates the current version.
